New month... New energy 🍂

After the Summer holidays, September always feels like a fresh start for me.

As lovely as the Summer is, it comes with its challenges. Lack of routine, more social events, lots of plates to spin, and late nights can all lead to feeling out of balance.

September brings time to breathe, and get organised for the Autumn/Winter. I'm really excited to share what I've been working on over the next couple of weeks.

If you have been struggling to make time for yourself, had to put your self care on hold due to holidays or child care, and are ready for a reset, please get in touch.

Your mind and body will thank you for it.

I often get asked how often a client should have a treatment with me...

The answer?

Good News - You can have any of the therapies I offer as often as you like!

However, there are a few things to consider:

➡️ How much time you have
➡️ The financial commitment
➡️ Your health/medical history
➡️ Your self care/wellbeing goals

Holistic therapy is the perfect way to manage stress, irregular sleep, and pain. It is also a fantastic way to relax on purpose, regulate your nervous system, and bring some balance back.

But it's not a one time cure. Our busy lives, the mental load we carry, and the challenges that come along unexpectedly can all throw us off track.

Regular treatments, whether that be weekly, fortnightly, or monthly, can help support your overall wellness on an ongoing basis.

Think of it like going to the gym or an exercise class. Going once will make you feel good in the moment, but you're unlikely to achieve the result you want in one session.

Consistency is key 🔑

St Helena Hospice Community Fun Day

This was such a great way to start August!

I spent all day Saturday with my St Helena family at this amazing annual fundraising event offering Reflexology treatments in the sunshine ☀️

Along with two other therapists we were fully booked all day!

As a team, the Complimentary Therapy & Wellbeing Tent raised just short of £500 🧡

Hello August ☀️

We've been so lucky with the weather this year, but August always feels like Summer doesn't it?

Whether you're going away on holiday, enjoying days out, or trying to juggle work and entertaining the kids at home, August can be a busy one!

I am in the thick of it myself with kids at home and a busy work diary which I'm very grateful for.

I am reviewing my availability week on week and will continue to post my availability on my stories every couple of days.

There will be more evening and weekend appointments available to accommodate anyone struggling to make time for themselves during the week.

I do have a weekend away planned at the end of August so if you are looking to get children in for Reflexology before they return to school, please get in touch as space will be limited around that last week of the holidays.

I am also booking well into September so if August is going to be a struggle for you, you can get something in the diary for once the Summer madness is over.

☀️ Summer Holiday Availability ☀️

Starting next week, like lots of parents I'll be doing the Summer juggle between work and childcare.

Whilst I won't be able to offer as many day time appointments, I will be working more evenings and weekends which may work better for those with children anyway.

The Summer break can be wonderful... more family time, holidays, days out etc. It can also be looonnng and stressful at times with very little time to yourself. Please don't let your self care time slide... it will be more important than ever to take those moments for yourself.

Its also a great time to book the children in and teach them how important it is to relax and take time away from friends, endless clubs and commitments, and time on screens.

I will continue to share my availability each week, but please get those appointments booked as you normally would so you know you have some time booked in for yourself ✨️
