A & E First Aid I'm Jess Mum, Wife and passionate about teaching. In 2017 I was formally diagnosed with dyslexia and it was one of those life altering moments.

18 months later

I passed my first swimming exams and became a Baby & Pre School swimming teacher from there I am proud to say I went from strength to strength passing two further swimming exams allowing me to teach children an adults from beginners up to competitive swimming and that was just the start. Following my passion for teaching others I worked incredibly hard and completed my Level 3 Award in Education which enabled me to complete my Tutor qualification with the STA (Swimming Teachers Association) allowing me to Tutor new swimming teachers in several disciplines, more recently I also became a tutor for the RLSS. Part of my role as a tutor is to teach life saving, ensuring teachers are prepared should the worst happen. This has naturally lead me down the First Aid route. My dream has always been to teach & help others in any way I can and that passion is what has driven me to begin my own company teaching First Aid. Not only am I doing something that I enjoy but the thought that what I am teaching could actually save someones life is just an incredible thought.

Hi, i’m Jessie, the face behind A&E First Aid 💚

All I ever wanted to do was teach, but undiagnosed dyslexia knocked my confidence for years. Now I’ve finally followed that passion — and I genuinely love helping people learn skills that really matter.

A&E First Aid is all about keeping things simple, practical and real, so you feel confident stepping in when it counts.

After my husband recently collapsed at work (while being the first aider on site), it really hit home… accidents don’t wait. Online learning has its place, but it can’t replace hands-on experience — confidence and competence aren’t the same.

I’m also doing this to show my two daughters that if you believe in yourself and follow your dreams, amazing things can happen 💚 A&E First Aid is named after them, which makes this journey even more special.
