Farewell to Monica Bird 💜
It is with both deep sadness and immense gratitude that we announce the retirement of our wonderful professional carer, Monica Bird, whose last working day with Cera was September 29, 2026.1
Starting her journey with us on April 14, 2000, Monica dedicated an astonishing 26 years to providing exceptional, compassionate care to our service users. For over two and a half decades, Monica has been the heartbeat of our community—consistently giving her all, showing unwavering kindness, and bringing comfort to everyone she supported.
Beyond her daily care duties, Monica has been an absolute pillar of strength for our branch, always stepping up to support our on-call teams and going above and beyond whenever she was needed most. Her dedication, warmth, and wealth of experience have left an indelible mark on both her colleagues and the clients lucky enough to have known her. 💜
Monica, thank you for 26 years of devotion, compassion, and tireless service. You will be dearly missed by all of us at Cera, but we wish you a retirement filled with all the rest, happiness, and wonderful adventures you so richly deserve.❤️
