Have you heard of TurtleBrace? 🐢

We're working with the team at Blatchford Mobility to bring TurtleBrace products to our patients.

TurtleBrace is a lightweight, mouldable brace that's easy to use. It can be remoulded as your child's needs change, and it's slim enough to wear under everyday clothes. The fabric is breathable and anti-bacterial, and the brace is environmentally friendly too.

Our physios can use it for:
✅ Serial casting
✅ Spasticity control
✅ Upper or lower limb support
✅ Ankle neuropathy, sprains and tendonitis

We have a sample TurtleBrace in clinic at Copford, so just ask one of the team if you'd like to see one in person.

Today is World Cerebral Palsy Day. 💚

50 million voices. 50 million reasons for change. This year’s question is simple: what’s your change for cerebral palsy?

At Kids’ Therapy Works, our physiotherapy, OT and SLT teams work alongside children with cerebral palsy and their families every week, building strength, movement, independence and confidence. Every child is unique, and so is every goal.

Eli has been working hard with Verity in his OT sessions, focusing on exercises with Theraputty to strengthen his hands and practising using cutlery, as you can see its starting to pay off at home too!

Speech delay and language delay — they sound similar, but they're not the same thing. And knowing the difference matters.

A speech delay means your child struggles to produce sounds clearly. A language delay means they find it hard to understand or use words and sentences. Some children have one, some have both — and the right support depends on which.

What is psychodynamic counselling - and how can it help your child? 💜
