What is psychodynamic counselling - and how can it help your child? 💜

We've just published a short video introducing our children's counselling service at Kids' Therapy Works. In just over a minute, you'll hear about what Ellen does, who she helps, and what a session looks like.

Ellen works with children and young people experiencing anxiety, big emotions, family changes, or struggles that are hard to put into words. Sessions take place at our Lakelands Centre in Stanway, Colchester - a calm, private space where children can explore their feelings at their own pace.

Whether it's through play, drawing, or conversation - whatever works for your child.

We're so proud to officially open our dedicated occupational therapy centre at Lakelands, Stanway - a purpose-built space designed for children, equipped with everything our OT team needs to deliver exceptional therapy.

Lakelands is fully accessible, with Changing Places facilities, a dedicated sensory room, and a fully accessible playground - because every child deserves a space that works for them.

From sensory integration and motor skills to school readiness and EHCP assessments, our growing OT team is here and ready to help children across North Essex and beyond.

Welcome to the team, Emily! 🎉

We're thrilled to introduce Emily Fenton, our new Occupational Therapist based at our Lakelands clinic in Stanway.

Emily brings over three years' experience across hospital and community settings, most recently supporting children and families with autism, ADHD, developmental coordination disorder and neurological conditions.

She's skilled in specialist seating, postural management and sensory strategies - and passionate about helping children access their environments and reach their potential.

Emily joins Verity to strengthen our growing OT service at Lakelands. Welcome, Emily! 💗
