Kids' Therapy Works is proud to be an official sponsor of the Mersea Island Festival 2026!

This summer, we're funding free supporter places for carers and family members of children with a disability attending as day visitors - because no child should have to experience something this special without the people they need by their side.

The festival runs from Sunday 23 August to Monday 31 August on the beautiful Essex coast, with activities including paddleboarding, kayaking, archery, climbing, live bands, circus skills and so much more.

We're delighted to welcome Ellen Laughlin to the Kids' Therapy Works team as our Children’s Counsellor.

Ellen holds an MA in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy and brings specialist experience supporting young people through anxiety, bereavement, trauma, and identity challenges, most recently working in a school counselling role.

She joins our growing team to expand the emotional wellbeing support we offer families, recognising that mental health and physical health go hand in hand.

Counselling sessions are now available at our Lakelands clinic.
