At EOS we believe that eye tests are a vital part of your annual health check and not just about buying glasses. We provide a high standard of professional care to both private and NHS patients. At the end of your eye test your optometrist will discuss your visual requirements with you and offer advice and guidance and provide you with your personal prescription should you need one. But because we do not sell spectacles you are then able to take your prescription to any opticians and get the best deal on your glasses.

Did you know North East Essex has an acute primary eye care referral service. This means if you have a sore, red, or watery eye or all of the above then you can have an emergency appointment at EOS free of charge even if you are not normally entitled to a free NHS eye test. You can also attend several other local optometrists if we do not have a clinic. If you need an urgent appointment please call us first on 01206329043. If you have suffered a serious injury involving your eyes then you should call 999 or attend the closest Accident and Emergency.
