Summer loving, made official. The exquisite union of Maddie and George. Made all our hearts beat fast and I have to confess, even I shed a tear when father-of-the-bride, Terry, walked his daughter Maddie down the aisle. She looked like a flippin’ film star. What a happy day 🤍

A delicious recce today at at in preparation for a very special wedding I’m working on… this place in June is going to be romantic AF. Vines to the horizon, vibes to the sky. If you are lucky enough to attend a wedding here, the fire pits, fairy lights and frolicking amongst the vines will have even the most cynical amongst you composing love poetry by the time the clock strikes twelve. What a gorgeous venue 😍

Something adorable happened. Yesterday, I conducted a wedding so secret, the bride herself didn’t know about it until she was walking down the aisle. To a crowd of predominantly 8 year old guests, in a primary school classroom, the couple took part in a “practice ceremony” (before the real thing over the Easter hols). They made vows - “I promise to share my sweeties” - exchanged rings - haribo, natch - and had cake, confetti and high culture with a violinist and opera singer present! The kids loved it, I loved it. Nothing beats a wedding for that twinkly, heart-eyes feeling. I love love (and tax-benefitting acts 😉)
