Spider Naevus Treatment

This reel shows the treatment process from start to finish, including the appearance of the spider naevi before treatment and immediately afterwards.

IPL works by targeting the visible blood vessels, which are then naturally broken down by the body over the following 1–3 weeks.

During treatment, the clinical endpoint is for the vessel to either blanch (disappear from view) or coagulate and darken. In this case, we achieved both responses, which is exactly what we were hoping to see.

Based on today’s treatment, we’re pleased with the clinical response and are hopeful that no further treatment will be required.

We’ll share this client’s healed results next week, so keep an eye on our page to see the outcome.
