Hello everyone,

Thank you for your continued support, encouragement, and trust. I genuinely appreciate everyone who has supported me.

Yesterday was a day that meant a great deal to me personally.

I had the honour of looking after the funeral of my old rugby manager Alan Miles "Lank" someone I shared many memories with over the years, both on and off the pitch. He wasn’t just part of the club, he was at the heart of it. Someone who meant a lot to so many.

It was only fitting that Lank's farewell reflected the passion he had for the club and game. It was only right to start his final journey from his beloved Drybrook Rugby Club. His bespoke coffin, in his club colours was a proud and fitting tribute to the dedication he gave throughout the years, all topped off with a beautiful tribute of flowers personally made by his Wife.

His Son and family carried him on his final journey as his former teammates stood together to form a guard of honour. It says everything about the respect they had for him, and the bond that never fades, even long after the final whistle.

Being able to support his family, while also saying goodbye to someone I personally respected, was a real privilege.
Rest easy, Lank 🏉
