Celebrating the King's Official Birthday.

Residents at Colwall Care Home got creative this week as they made special birthday cards to mark His Majesty King Charles III's Official Birthday.

There was plenty of imagination on display, with residents designing and decorating unique cards while enjoying conversation and sharing memories of royal celebrations over the years.

An Afternoon of Music at Colwall Care Home

Residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of live music thanks to the talented Ray Mytton, who treated everyone to a selection of traditional folk songs on the guitar.

The music sparked happy memories, with residents singing along, tapping their feet and sharing stories inspired by the familiar tunes. It was fantastic to see so many smiles and hear the home filled with music.

We were delighted to welcome some of the Year 8 students from The Elms School to Colwall Care Home this week.

Residents and students enjoyed spending time together in the garden, sharing stories, laughter, and helping to brighten up our outdoor spaces. The students also hosted a fantastic quiz, complete with beautiful mugs for the winners!

A huge thank you to all the students and staff for their kindness, enthusiasm, and wonderful company. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.

There's no stopping our resident now!

One of our residents has been making the most of the beautiful weather and his new mobility scooter, enjoying the freedom to explore the local village at his own pace. From taking in the local sights and enjoying the fresh air to catching up with familiar faces along the way, every outing is an opportunity for adventure.

Supporting residents to maintain their independence, confidence and connection to the local community is incredibly important to us. Activities such as these help promote wellbeing, encourage physical activity and provide opportunities to continue enjoying the hobbies and routines that matter most.

We had a fantastic turnout for this month’s Community Coffee Morning at Colwall Care Home and it was wonderful to welcome so many friendly faces from the local community.

A huge thank you to Sarah Edwards for joining us and speaking to everyone about her physiotherapy services. The session was incredibly informative and greatly appreciated by all who attended.

Our residents at Colwall Care Home enjoyed a wonderful Bank Holiday Monday BBQ in the sunshine!

It was lovely to see everyone relaxing outdoors, enjoying delicious food, great company, and making the most of the beautiful weather. The afternoon was filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of happy memories.
