Good luck to every single one of my lovely clients heading to Aintree!

All your gorgeous horses and ponies have had their final physio/massages this week and are moving beautifully – muscles loose, backs happy and feeling fabulous! ✨

This week, I had the pleasure of visiting Diva. 🐎 Diva is one of my regular horses that I treat but she has recently taken a tumble out hacking. Thankfully the veterinary team confirmed only minor injuries ❤️‍🩹

Diva’s lovely owners did absolutely the right thing by contacting me so I could thoroughly check her over before resuming her ridden work. After a thorough assessment, gait analysis, range of motion evaluation, bespoke treatment, and gentle stretches, Diva is now ready to ease back into work with care. I’ve provided her owners with a bespoke plan to support her recovery. Well done to her team for always putting her welfare first. 🌟

🏆 Huge congratulations to Wendi and Bob for their incredible win ‘Veteran Rider’ at the NAF Five Star British Riding Club Championships in Lincoln with the Northern Dressage Group! 🎉

What a brilliant partnership, Bob, the clever little cob, gave his all, and Wendi’s training, love and dedication truly paid off.

Once home, I gave Bob a thorough check-up, full body treatment and gentle stretches to help him recover and stay in great shape ready for his next ride! 🐎✨

🐴 🏅 I had the pleasure of working with Cindy and Henry yesterday. Both have recently had an incredible weekend at the BRC Naff Five Star Championships in Lincoln! Representing Longton Riding Club, this amazing duo secured a fantastic 5th place in the 60cm team results! 🎉 🏆

After a thorough assessment, observing Henry’s movement in straight lines and transitions on the lunge, he received a comprehensive treatment tailored to his needs. We finished with a series of passive stretches and baited treat stretches.

We had a great time designing creative polework exercises to boost Henry’s strength, balance, coordination and joint range of motion! 🐎 ⭐️

Last week, I had the pleasure of working with Wild Max just before he competed at the RoR National Championships 2025 at Aintree International Equestrian Centre with his owner, Leah.

Max took part in the Challenge Series and, as he was such a talented racehorse, was invited to the evening performance of the ‘Always a Star Parade’; a celebration of racehorses that have earned significant prize money and accolade during their racing careers🏇✨

Although recently retired from racing, under Leah’s expert training, love, and care, Max is an absolute delight; a true testament to the dedication of his team!

It’s wonderful to see these amazing athletes enjoying their new careers, and I’m so happy to support Max in staying happy and healthy.

🌿🐴 Equine Wellness in Action 🐴🌿

Visited a lovely horse this afternoon who was showing some soreness in a few key areas. With a full holistic assessment, I was l able to pinpoint what was going on, beyond just the obvious tension.

After a tailored massage therapy session, a few gentle adjustments to his routine, and a set of stretches and groundwork exercises for his owner, he was already showing signs of relief✨

It's amazing what a combination of touch, observation, and teamwork can do. Massage isn’t just about treating the symptoms, it’s about supporting the whole horse, mind and body.

If your horse is showing subtle signs of discomfort, stiffness, or just not quite moving like their usual self, it could be time for a check-in.
