🧡34% had historically selfharmed,
🧡22% were currently self-harming and
🧡28% had suicidal thoughts.

This ***dePreventionDay we remember the ones we've lost and the reason Visyon was formed.

Our early intervention support acts to prevent su***de and encourages hope by offering children and young people, experiencing low mood and thoughts of su***de, an alternative way to manage their feelings.

Our Self Harm and Su***de Parent Workshops are there to help parents support their children's mental health.

🌏 6 WEEKS TO GO! 🌏

In just 6 weeks, Visyon’s first-ever overseas challenge team will set off to trek the Great Wall of China! 🇨🇳

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be introducing our fantastic team, so keep an eye out! 👀

With 9 in 10 children owning a mobile phone by the time they reach the age of 11, building a healthy relationship with the online world is vitally important. 📱🧡

As the new school year is due to start for our local children and young people, the Visyon team are preparing with their annual Safeguarding refresher training.

🏳️‍🌈 Today focused on the LGBTQ+ community and how Visyon can offer a safe space and ensure young people and their families feel seen and not alone. 🏳️‍🌈

Thank you to our facilitators Jo and Hugo who shared their lived experience with the team and reminded us why inclusivity matters. 🧡

Our second Summer family workshop took place last Tuesday at Visyon Congleton, where young people and their families took part in the art workshop to create pieces for display at Visyon 🎨🖌️🧡

It was great to see everyone expressing themselves and enjoying some quality downtime together. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
