What happens if an operator becomes stranded at height?

When people are working at height, there may be situations where the normal method of descent is no longer available. In those circumstances, knowing how to use the correct equipment and descend safely is extremely important.

Abseil Training gives operators practical experience of using the appropriate equipment and carrying out a controlled descent safely when required.

For businesses where employees work at height, important considerations include having suitable equipment available, a clear procedure in place and ensuring operators have practical experience of what to do should they ever become stranded.

It’s a situation you hope will never arise, but having the right knowledge and practical training can make a real difference.

A look at one of our recent on-site Abrasive Wheels courses.

Our instructor recently delivered practical Abrasive Wheels training on-site, giving candidates the opportunity to build their knowledge and confidence while working with the equipment safely.

The course combines theory with practical instruction, covering the safe selection, use and handling of abrasive wheels and associated equipment.

We deliver Abrasive Wheels training both at our training centre and on-site at customer premises.
