One of the reasons I got into nutrition in the first place was because I couldn’t ignore how many people around me were struggling with their health.
So many people are living with chronic symptoms, feeling unwell, and being told they’ll just have to manage it or stay on medication forever. While medication can be incredibly important and life changing when it’s needed. However for more chronic conditions I started to realise how much of an impact our everyday choices can have too 🌱
The more I learnt about nutrition, food and lifestyle, the more I realised how powerful these things can be in supporting the body.
I remember thinking… why isn’t everyone taught this?
Why don’t more people know how much their diet, gut health, stress, sleep and lifestyle can influence how they feel? 🌿
That’s what made me want to share the message and make nutrition feel simple, realistic and actually doable, not overwhelming or restrictive.
Something I’ve learnt even more since becoming a mum is that prioritising your own health isn’t selfish, it’s essential 💚
When you have a baby, it’s so easy to put yourself at the bottom of the list. But the truth is, if I’m not well, I can’t show up in the way I want to for my family 🤍
We often hear people say “I would die for my children”…
But what about choosing to live for them? 🌱
What about looking after your body, supporting your health, and giving yourself the best chance of being there, healthy and present, for all the moments still to come? ✨
Your health is not something to put off until later. It’s the foundation that allows you to enjoy and experience life with the people you love most 🫶
And that’s why I do what I do. To help people understand their bodies, feel empowered and make changes that support their health 🌿 🤍
