For National Book Lovers Day, we’re reflecting on the gentle comfort reading can offer during grief.

Stories can give us a quiet place to sit with difficult feelings at our own pace. They can help us recognise emotions we may not yet have words for, and remind us that grief is deeply personal, but not something we have to carry in isolation.

Whether it is through a familiar character, a thoughtful sentence or a moment of reflection, reading can bring reassurance, connection and comfort when we need it most.

HOPE REMAINS- Reflective service for all su***de awareness.

When a community chooses to talk, listen, care, and remember- HOPE becomes louder than silence.

Hope Remains is a free community gathering for Su***de Awareness and Prevention, bringing people together through stories of hope, love, healing and resilience.

Together we will create a space where conversations are opened, lives are honoured, and people struggling are reminded that they are seen, valued and never alone.

Every story shared is a reminder that healing is possible.
Every candle lit is a symbol that hope still shines.
Every song or music piece chosen with meaning.
Every person present helps break the stigma surrounding su***de.
Every conversation is a chance of connection.

Join us in compassion, connection and collective hope.
