It’s often the little things families remember. 🤍
When someone dies, there are so many decisions to make. The funeral, the flowers, the music, the cars, the service.
But sometimes, when families talk to us afterwards, it isn't the big things they remember most.
It’s the little things.
Someone taking the time to listen to a story about Dad.
Making sure Mum’s hair was just as she would have liked it.
A favourite piece of music playing quietly.
A tie straightened, a photograph placed carefully, or simply being given an extra few minutes when saying goodbye feels particularly hard.
These things may seem small, but to a family they can mean everything.
At Franklin & Hawkins, we believe supporting families is about far more than arranging a funeral. It’s about getting to know the person behind the arrangements, listening to the people who loved them, and paying attention to all those little details that make their farewell theirs.
Because very often, the little things become the things we remember most. 🤍
