This always happens... 😂

I'm a loctician... and my own hair is crying out for some TLC! 🤦🏾‍♀️

Between caring for Mum, being a mum myself, running Crystal Moon and trying to steal every chance I get to spend time with my amazing little grandson, my own hair always ends up at the bottom of the list. Sound familiar? 😅

The funny thing is, I always make sure my clients come first. I absolutely adore every single one of you, and this Bank Holiday has proved that again! My phone has been non stop with last minute messages trying to squeeze in appointments. 😂

As much as I wish I could clone myself, I can't!

So, going forward, if you know you're going to need your locs maintained, your canerows refreshed or your natural hair cared for around Bank Holidays or school holidays, please get into the habit of booking your next appointment before you leave. It'll save the panic and make sure your space is waiting for you.

I get asked this all the time, so here's the simple version..

I do hair. I offer energy healing. I do massage therapy. And I create my own little Crystal Moon collections, including bath salts, crystals, oils and manifestation bottles.

It's a bit of an unusual mix, I know... but that's exactly how I wanted it. Crystal Moon was created to be a one to one sanctuary where you can come exactly as you are.

POV: It's one of those days... 😂

Anyone else wake up today and think, "I don't wanna adult today?" 🙋🏾‍♀️😂

The carers have already been and got Mum sorted this morning..so that's one thing less to worry about.

Then I opened the back door and Chino looked at the torrential rain, looked back at me, and basically said, "You can go out there if you want... I'm staying right here." 🐶😂

At that point I knew exactly what the universe was serving today.

Anyway... here I am. Coffee in hand, locs slightly doing their own thing and crying out for some help and tlc, getting on with it because bills don't pay themselves. 😂

Some days you're thriving. Some days you're surviving.

Today... we're surviving with a smile. 🤎

If your locs are ready for a little TLC, I offer one to one loc maintenance in a private, relaxed setting here in Coventry.

For me, loc maintenance isn't just about making your roots look neat. I pay attention to the condition of your locs and scalp too, working carefully with your natural hair and helping you maintain healthy locs between appointments.

I work with established locs using palm rolling, crochet and interlocking techniques depending on what your hair needs.

I don't use extensions, colour or chemical treatments. My focus is natural Afro hair and loc care, healthy maintenance and giving you the time and attention that can sometimes get lost in a busy salon.

People often ask me if Reiki really works and my answer is always the same. You don't have to understand everything for your body to benefit from it.

Think about how many things we use every day without knowing exactly how they work. We trust the process because we experience the results.

Reiki is simply an opportunity to slow down, be still and allow your body and mind the space to reset. Some people leave feeling lighter, some deeply relaxed and others say they sleep better or feel more balanced afterwards. Every experience is different because every person is different.

You don't need to come with any expectations. Just come as you are, take a moment for yourself and allow yourself to receive. Sometimes that's the healing we need most.
