Otto Update! 🐾

Remember little Otto, who stole all our hearts when he first joined the team as a puppy? Well, he’s not so little anymore, but he’s still as mischievous and sweet as ever!

With the recent warm weather, Otto has found his absolute favourite way to keep cool.

We welcome a new addition to the Hackett family tree, Joey Thomas Hackett-Donaldson arrived late April he has filled our hearts and we send all our love to Honor and her family.
(You may have had the pleasure of meeting Joey this week and he has joined his mummy back in the office, for a temporary visit!)

Last week, Bedworth said a heartfelt goodbye to one of its own, Max Holtham, who tragically passed away far too soon at the age of just 25.
Born in Nuneaton to Lisa and George, Max was a devoted son, a loving brother to Jodie and Lexxie, a cherished nephew to Tracey and Tony, a proud uncle to Belle, and a much-loved grandson.
Raised in and around Bedworth, he attended Nicholas Chamberlaine School and built strong friendships that would stay with him throughout his life.
Max was a familiar and popular face across Bedworth and the surrounding area. Many knew him through his time playing for Bedworth Rugby Football Club, where his passion for sport and team spirit shone through. He was also a lifelong and devoted Everton supporter, a love reflected in the beautiful floral tributes at his funeral. In a touching gesture, Everton Football Club also paid tribute to Max on the big screen at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Above all, Max will be remembered for the person he was – a much-loved son, brother, nephew, grandson and a loyal friend to so many. His infectious personality, kind heart and love of life left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
A celebration of Max's life was held on Friday, 5 June 2026. His final journey began from his family home in Bedworth and continued to the Heart of England Crematorium, where mourners were invited to wear football or rugby shirts in honour of his passion for sport. The day concluded with a gathering at Collycroft Working Men's Club, where family and friends came together to share memories, celebrate his life, and remember the joy he brought to those around him.
Rest in peace, Max.
You will be forever loved, forever missed, and always remembered by all who knew you.

Meet our newest (and Furriest) Team Member!
We have a new face around the office, everyone, meet Otto! 🐶
This handsome Golden Retriever pup belongs to one of our staff members and has been spending a few days a week helping us out. While he’s still working on his professional decorum (and his "stay" command), he’s already an expert at offering wagging tails and morale boosts to our team. If you happen to visit us on an "Otto day," you might catch him napping in the office or greeting us with a favourite toy.

In Loving Memory of Peter Bradley (1933–2026)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Bradley, who passed away on April 15, 2026, at the age of 92 years. A master of his craft and a true pillar of the Ansley community, Peter was known to many as the dedicated mechanic who kept the village moving for four decades.

The funeral service will take place at The Heart of England Crematorium on Tuesday 12th May 2026 at 11:45am

Born in Ansley in 1933, Peter’s journey with the motor trade began in Galley Common and the Sam Robins Garage in Nuneaton. His expertise was further honed during his service in the RAF (1952–1955), where he was placed in charge of vehicle maintenance. After returning to civilian life and working for several firms, Peter achieved his dream of self-employment in the late 1960s when he took over Ansley Hall Motors on Coleshill Road.

For 40 years, Peter was a fixture at the garage, retiring in 2007. He witnessed the evolution of the industry firsthand, often remarking with his signature wit on the "big changes" he’d seen—from the simple engines of his youth to the "complicated things they call motor cars nowadays."

Peter was a devoted father of four and a proud grandfather and great-grandfather. His passion for the road didn't end at retirement; he spent many happy years caravanning and was a familiar face at classic car rallies and steam fairs, where he took great pride in his 1949 Morris Minor.

Peter Bradley was a man of service, skill, and genuine kindness. He will be greatly missed by his sons, his grandchildren, and the many friends he made across a lifetime of hard work and community spirit

It was a pleasure to be part of the dedication service today at St Francis of Assisi RC Church, Bedworth.
We had the honour of donating the tribute of the plaques in memory of members of the community who held the church so fondly in their hearts. Their tributes have helped the restoration of both the church and church hall.
