Just to help you understand your options, there are two main ways you can receive care from TA Care:
1. Direct Payments – The Local Authority pays your approved care funding onto a prepaid card. We then invoice you for the agreed care, and payment is made using those funds.
2. Penderels Trust (Managed Account) – The Local Authority can arrange a managed account through Penderels Trust. They handle the administration and payments on your behalf, so there is very little for you to do. We invoice Penderels Trust directly, and they pay us from your approved care funding. You will not need to manage invoices or paperwork, although they may occasionally contact you to ensure everything is running smoothly.
In both cases, the amount of funding you receive from the Local Authority remains the same. TA Care charges the same rates as your current provider, and we only charge for the care that has been agreed and approved.
There are no hidden fees or unexpected charges. Any changes to care hours or funding must first be agreed with the Local Authority. Everything operates in the same way as it does with your current provider, with the added benefit of TA Care's focus on reliability, communication, and high-quality care.
