To help reduce costs and make better use of valuable NHS funding, The Village Surgery will now contact patients primarily by email or through the NHS App, rather than by SMS.

How you can help:
✅ Make sure we have your current email address.
✅ Download the NHS App and switch on notifications so you don't miss important messages from us or the NHS.

Don't have an email address or a smartphone? That's absolutely fine. We'll continue to send SMS messages when needed as a last resort, so you'll still receive important updates.

Due to unexpected staff sickness, our clinical team is currently running at a reduced capacity. This means we may take a little longer than usual to respond to non-urgent queries, and have less appointments today than usual. Please accept our apologies if you are asked to seek 111 or urgent treatment centres instead.

We are working incredibly hard to see patients as quickly and safely as possible. If you have a routine or non-urgent request, please consider using our online services or contacting your local pharmacy.
