π HAVE YOU FELT DIFFERENT THESE LAST FEW DAYS?
More tired than usual?
Restless or unable to switch off?
Emotionally sensitive?
Overwhelmed by noise, people or everyday pressure?
Or simply feeling that you need to slow down, reconnect and find some peace?
There has been heightened interest again over the last few days in the Schumann Resonance β the naturally occurring electromagnetic resonances surrounding our planet.
These frequencies are created within the space between the Earth and its ionosphere, largely through worldwide lightning activity. They are part of the natural electromagnetic environment that human beings have always lived within.
And this is where science and self-awareness become a fascinating conversation.
Research is continuing into the relationship between extremely-low-frequency electromagnetic fields, our biological systems, brain activity and circadian rhythms. Scientists are exploring possible connections, but we do not yet have evidence that changes in the Schumann Resonance directly cause the physical or emotional sensations people sometimes report.
At Global Mind Healing, I encourage people to become more aware of something we often forget:
Your body is constantly communicating with you.
Some people are deeply tuned into changes in their body, nervous system, emotions and environment. They notice very quickly when they feel different.
Others simply know:
βI donβt feel quite myself today.β
They may not recognise that they are overstimulated, emotionally overloaded, exhausted or carrying too much stress.
Whatever the reason, you donβt have to fight the feeling.
πΏ Get outside into nature.
π§ Hydrate.
π« Slow your breathing.
π§ Meditate or sit quietly.
πΆ Use calming sound and music.
π΅ Reduce stimulation for a while.
π Check in with your emotions rather than automatically reacting to them.
π΄ Give your nervous system permission to rest.
You donβt need to understand every frequency around you to start understanding your own internal state.
That is one of the things we teach at Global Mind Healing β developing the self-awareness to recognise what your mind and body are telling you, and learning practical ways to bring yourself back towards calm, balance and emotional stability.
The world around us is constantly changing.
The skill is learning how to remain connected to yourself within it. πβ¨
