Eden Team at Mid Cheshire Hospitals The Eden Team are a group of midwives at Leighton Hospital who provide care throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period.

Oak Team are a group of midwives working for Leighton Hospital (MCHT) in Cheshire. We are a group of 8 midwives split into two groups of 4. We provide continuity of care to women - with the aim that women know the midwife that is caring for them throughout pregnancy, in labour and during the postnatal period. We work an on call service in order to provide care for women wishing to home birth 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

We wanted to let you know that, following some trust-wide service changes, our Birth Preparation Classes on the MLU will no longer be running after 31st August.
There are a limited number of places remaining on our classes before this date. If you would like to attend, please contact the MLU to book your place.

After 31st August, families wishing to access antenatal education can book onto the Journey to Parenthood classes by emailing [email protected].

We understand that many families have valued these sessions and we are saddened to see these classes come to an end. Our midwives remain committed to supporting you throughout your pregnancy and helping you access the information and preparation you need for birth.
