Our Supported Adult Service is about reducing isolation, building confidence and developing the skills that help people live more independently.

But it doesn’t stop there.

We support people to discover their strengths, get involved in volunteering and explore their own journey towards employment and paid work.

Team SAS were back in action today The Nantwich Show showground! 👌

With litter pickers at the ready, the team headed out from the show office to help tidy the show fields and give the volunteers’ breakout hut a final clean out.

A huge well done to everyone. Every person played their part and proved that every little really does help. 😃

The Nantwich Show is an incredible event, brought together by an equally incredible team of organisers 👏.

Thanks for having us. We hope to see you all again next year! 🌟

We did it 💪

Today, Team SAS (Supported Adults Service) proudly played their part at The Nantwich Show, and what a day it’s been ☺️.

Our day began by preparing 150 lunch bags for the incredible volunteers, before serving *delicious fruit kebabs and flapjacks at the networking event in the members marquee, before confidently providing hospitality for VIP guests at the Chairman’s Lunch.

It’s been a long day, but without doubt one of the most rewarding.

Seeing Team SAS shine today has left me feeling incredibly proud, and a little emotional as I write this because I’m completely overwhelmed by the kind words and compliments they received throughout the day. Every single one was thoroughly deserved.

We met some wonderful people, had some fantastic conversations and made some new connections along the way.

Today wasn’t just about hospitality. It was about opening doors, raising awareness of Wishing Welll, creating opportunities, and building confidence 💪.

A huge thank you to liz Parkin, Michael-John Parkin, Stacey Rutter, Mel, Lorna, Judy for welcoming The Wishing Well back to the Nantwich Show and giving Team SAS this incredible opportunity.

💜 So proud of Team SAS!

Today, our Supported Adults enjoyed a practice hospitality session as they continue developing their skills ahead of The Nantwich Show.

The team has worked incredibly hard on their hospitality training, practising serving drinks, communicating, and delivering great customer service. Every practice session helps to build confidence, develop valuable workplace skills, and support greater independence.

Next Wednesday, 29th July, Team SAS will be putting those skills into action at the fantastic Nantwich Show, one of Cheshire’s biggest agricultural and family events. With livestock displays, food and drink, shopping, entertainment, and activities for all ages, it’s always a brilliant day out for the whole family.

We may be just one small piece of the jigsaw, but we’re incredibly proud to play our part in this special event.

What an achievement!

A huge thank you to Kerry Allen and all her team for taking on this challenge in support of The Wishing Well. Watching the team come together with such enthusiasm, determination and generosity has been genuinely inspiring.

💙🌊 Team SAS Holiday 2026 🌊💙

Before a single suitcase is packed, months of planning takes place behind the scenes. From risk assessments and individual support plans to safeguarding, transport, accommodation and activities, every detail is carefully planned to make a holiday like this possible. Every hour of preparation is worth it when we see the smiles, hear the laughter and watch memories being made.

Last week,Team SAS guests enjoyed a wonderful holiday in St Annes-on-Sea. From wellbeing walks along the promenade and building sandcastles, picnics in the park supplied by our incredible Eat Well at The Wishing Well team, swimming, to crazy golf, favourite restaurants, arcades, a little shopping and plenty of laughter, every day brought new experiences, growing confidence and lasting friendships.

What we’ll remember most isn’t where we went, but how people supported one another. The kindness, encouragement and confidence we saw grow throughout the week.

I’m incredibly proud of Deb, Gez and, of course, Dominic Hibbert who joined us as our Community Champion. Together, we gave our time because we believe everyone deserves experiences like this. It’s our way of giving something back to the charity and to the amazing guests who place their trust in us each week.

Because sometimes the greatest gift we can give isn’t just a holiday. It’s the memories that last a lifetime. ❤️

Every Great Team Needs a Hydration Break! 💧

Just like the best teams, our sponsored walkers needed a well-earned hydration break in today’s warm weather!

A huge thank you to Stuart Mackay Member Engagement for Cheshire East, Warrington & Halton, for supporting the walk by providing refreshments on route to keep everyone going. It’s a fantastic example of the power of collaboration and community spirit.

It was wonderful to have our Supported Adults team and a show of support from Richard Weilding too.
