πΎ TENNIS ELBOW? TRY THIS EXERCISE πͺ
Tennis elbow (lateral elbow tendinopathy) can be frustrating β and despite the name, you definitely donβt need to play tennis to develop it!
The key to managing it is often appropriate load management combined with gradually rebuilding the strength and capacity of the wrist and forearm.
Here are some exercises you can use to help:
β
Build wrist & forearm strength
β
Improve tendon load tolerance
β
Gradually restore function
β
Prepare the arm for work, gym & sport
β
Reduce the risk of symptoms returning
β οΈ Remember: Tendons generally respond well to progressive loading β complete rest isnβt always the answer.
Start at a manageable level and gradually increase the resistance as your symptoms and strength improve.
If your elbow pain is persistent, worsening or affecting everyday activities, a proper assessment can help identify the cause and create an individual rehabilitation plan.
