🌺🎶 A Little Something Different at Bentley Manor! 🎶🌺

This week we enjoyed something a little bit different — live music, singing along and a fantastic Ukulele Band! 🪕❤️

Our residents had such a wonderful time joining in with the singing, enjoying the music and sharing plenty of smiles and laughter. 😊🎶

The ukulele entertainment was really good and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone! ❤️❤️😊😊

There’s nothing quite like live music to lift the spirits and bring everyone together. 🌸🎵

👩‍🍳💙 CELEBRATING OUR KITCHEN TEAM! 💙👨‍🍳

As part of our “Celebrating Every Department” initiative here at Bentley Manor, this month we are shining the spotlight on the amazing people behind one of the most important parts of daily life in our home — our Kitchen Team! 🍽️✨

From early mornings to busy mealtimes, our kitchen team work incredibly hard to make sure our residents are well fed, well looked after and, most importantly, enjoying their meals. ❤️

Food is about so much more than nutrition — it brings comfort, memories, choice and enjoyment, and our kitchen team play such an important role in creating that every day.

So, we wanted to take a moment to say a HUGE THANK YOU to our fantastic kitchen staff for everything you do. 👏🥰

Today was all about celebrating YOU — with plenty of smiles, treats and appreciation! 🧁☕️
We are so lucky to have such a dedicated team who put so much care into what they do. 💙

A huge congratulations to Justin, who has been nominated by his colleagues as our Employee of the Month for August! 🏆👏

Justin is a dedicated and valued member of our care team. He is a fantastic colleague who is always willing to help wherever he is needed, and his caring nature is regularly praised by our residents. ❤️

Justin recently went above and beyond to support the team, taking on additional responsibilities and helping across different areas of the home — all while keeping his wonderful positive attitude and smile! 😊

His professionalism, teamwork, kindness and willingness to go the extra mile truly make a difference to our residents and to the team around him.

We are incredibly proud to have Justin as part of our Bentley Manor family. 💙

🎨🧩 Fun, Games & Creativity at Bentley Manor! 🧩🎨

We’ve had a fantastic time enjoying a variety of activities together! 💕 Our residents took part in a fun word search and painting session, giving everyone the chance to get creative, concentrate and enjoy some relaxing time together. 🎨🖌️

We also had a brilliant Quiz Competition, with plenty of laughs, friendly competition and some fantastic knowledge on display! 🧠✨

🏆 Congratulations to our 4 quiz winners, who each received a well-deserved prize! 🎁👏

It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, supporting one another and enjoying the afternoon. ❤️

What a lovely visit we had today with Martina and her beautiful therapy dog, Lolly! 🐶💕

Our residents absolutely loved spending time with Lolly, enjoying lots of gentle strokes, cuddles and plenty of smiles. 🥰🐾

It was wonderful to see how much joy and comfort Lolly brought to everyone. A big thank you to Martina for bringing Lolly along and making our afternoon so special! ❤️

🌺🚌 A Wonderful Trip to Bridgemere! 🌟

Our residents had a fantastic day out at Bridgemere! 🥰

We enjoyed a lovely bus trip together, followed by a relaxing tour around the aquarium area and beautiful gardens. 🐠🌿🌸 There was so much to see and enjoy, and it was wonderful to see our residents taking in the scenery and spending time together.

Of course, no day out would be complete without a great meal! 🍽️😋 Everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch and plenty of lovely conversations along the way.
A special thank you to the family member who joined us. ❤️ We absolutely love having families come along and share these special moments with their loved ones. Your company makes our trips even more enjoyable and helps us create wonderful memories together. 🥰👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

🌿🍎 Homemade Apple Bird Feeders! 🐦❤️

Yesterday, our residents had a wonderful afternoon getting creative in the garden with Colette from Age UK! 🌸

Together, they made homemade apple bird feeders and then hung them around the garden, ready for our feathered friends to enjoy. 🍎🐦

It was lovely to see everyone getting involved, enjoying the fresh air and taking pride in creating something that will help our local birds. 🌳💚

A big thank you to Colette from Age UK for joining us and making the activity so enjoyable!
