Lisa Capper Counselling and ADHD Coaching

Lisa Capper Counselling and ADHD Coaching Counselling and coaching service from home office. Individual and couples counselling
Adhd coach I am a qualified Counsellor. Counselling can be life changing.

Each client is unique, I adapt my approaches to suit you. Working within a home environment, you are free to speak without fear or defences in a trusting non-judgemental environment. As we work together, we will explore the challenges that you are facing and find ways to enable you to move forward with a positive future. Making the decision to seek counselling can feel daunting, please be assured

it’s the first step to a positive outcome. Friends and family are great for support, but sometimes we hold back to protect them and ourselves. Seeking a counsellor can really assist you to find the answers within you, the benefits of counselling are you are not alone, that you are heard, and you have the space to explore your feelings and then you are able to process. Talking really does open the mind to feel understood. I will encourage and support you on your journey. What to Expect

Once you have made contact, I can give you a brief call if you wish, to answer any questions you may have, then if you are happy to book an appointment we can arrange this. I will then text you to confirm all the details. It may be helpful for you to think about what you want to gain from counselling. The first session is very informal so please do not worry; this session is more of a two-way session for me to gain the whole picture. We can work together to unpick why you are feeling the way you are and break it down into easy sections for us to work together to find the solutions to your concerns. For most clients I like to work with fortnightly appointments, but this is something we can discuss. I am on a register that has been accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (National Counselling Society) and have a clean disclosure and barring service check (DBS) record. Please feel free to get in touch to start you journey. I am happy to support you with any issues that you may be facing. These include, but are not limited to:

* Bereavement

* Loss

* Depression

* Anxiety

* Anger

* Low Self Worth

* Loneliness

* Abuse

* Eating Disorders

It’s more than the 50 minutes 🤍

When you book a counselling session with me, the work doesn’t start when you sit down and end when our 50 minutes are up.
There is a lot that happens behind the scenes.

📝 I review and reflect on our previous sessions
📚 I research and prepare where needed
🧠 I consider what may be helpful for you and your individual needs
🎓 I continue my own training and professional development
💭 I reflect on the therapeutic work and how I can best support you
🔎 I may explore resources, approaches or information relevant to what you’re working through

The 50-minute session is the part you see — but there is much more work surrounding it.

Because counselling isn’t about simply turning up, listening and watching the clock.

It’s about being prepared, present, reflective and invested in the work we do together. 🤍

So when you pay for a counselling session, you’re not just paying for 50 minutes of my time.

You’re investing in the experience, knowledge, preparation and professional care that sits behind those 50 minutes.

Your time matters. So does the work that happens around it.

I am ADHD Practitioner.

I have completed specialist training to deepen my understanding of ADHD and how it impacts everyday life, emotions, relationships, work, and self-esteem.
I offer neuroaffirming support that recognises your strengths as well as your challenges, helping you better understand your ADHD, develop practical strategies, reduce overwhelm, and build a life that works for your unique brain.
This complements my work as a counsellor.
This also complements my work as a counsellor and coach, allowing me to provide support that is informed, compassionate, and tailored to your individual needs.
