12 challenges. 12 days. One incredible way to say thank you. 💙
After their daughter, Sienna, was born prematurely and spent 12 days in Leighton Hospital's Neonatal Unit, her family wanted to give something back to the team who cared for them during such a difficult time.
They set themselves an inspiring challenge: to complete 12 physical challenges in honour of the 12 days Sienna spent in neonatal care.
Over the past year, they've taken on everything from half marathons and trail runs to mountain climbs and obstacle courses, all while raising two young children.
Recently, we were delighted to welcome the family back to the Neonatal Unit to celebrate the completion of their challenge and receive their incredible donation of more than £1,400.
Their generosity is a lasting thank you to the team who cared for Sienna and will help support other babies and families needing neonatal care in the future.
