The very similar plant Thuja occidentalis is one of the remedies we use a lot in homeopathy and one of my favourite things it helps with are warts.
If you look at some of the more three-dimensional warts and then look at these cones you can see the similarities. That’s nature pointing us to the potential sphere of action of this plant.
One of the laws governing homeopathy is that disease moves from within to without - and warts, on the surface of the skin are the body’s way of packaging up things it doesn’t need and sending them to the exterior of the body.
I’ve seen some wonderful transformations with this remedy - the most striking was a gentleman who was covered in freckles, moles and warts.
After taking this remedy he told me he’d had a bath and thought it odd how dirty the bottom of the bath was after he let out the water. On closer inspection it was his warts! Looking at his arms he realised they had indeed dropped off, and continued to do so for a couple of weeks until all the itching he’d come to me with stopped.
It is important to use this remedy carefully and not to send the warts inward so please contact a homeopath (like me! - or lots to choose from on Findahomeopath.org) if you would like some help with this.
