Nothing beats a good walk in the beautiful surroundings of Beaumont Park.

Our ethos is to create a low pressure environment. Meaning the young people we support feel comfortable amd confident to talk about their personal struggles.

We pride ourselves on been child centred, with everything we offer having their well being at the heart.

Time away with our loved ones is something we cherish.

Away from the noise of everyday life and a chance to reconnect with our children, who everyday are finding their own paths in life.

We return to work on Tuesday, but for now its time to create memories, breathe and chill.

Lets talk about SEND parents and burnout...

Burnout can look like emotional numbness and detachment, physical exhaustion (even if you manage to sleep). Restlessness, tearful, irritable, forgetfulness.

But it's not caused by the extra care levels alone, it can be caused by constantly advocating for yoy child, fighting for the right services, feeling isolated from family and friends. It is all consuming and can affect anyone. (Including myself).

Take a day for yourself, put down your phone, that email can wait. Whether you venture outdoors, call a friend or binge watch something you have seen a thousand times. You are doing a fantastic job 👏

Sometimes the world has to wait.
