Our residents had an absolutely fantastic time on the Seagull Trust Cruise! ☀️🌊 There were lots of smiles, laughter and happy faces as we enjoyed a relaxing trip along the water, taking in the beautiful views and enjoying each other’s company. 🥰
A huge thank you to the Seagull Trust for making our day so special! ❤️ We had such a wonderful time and can’t wait for our next adventure! 🎉🚢

Happy National Dog Day!

Charlie the Sharpei joined the team today to visit our residents in rooms and lounges. We had a great time clapping him. He brightened the day of residents and staff. What a good boy.

Book club, badminton, karoke, national prosecco day and a rather disappointing eclipse. The weather might not have been what we'd hoped for but we have had a great week here at Thorntoun.

As well as reliving some of our favourite holiday memories, we're always up for trying something new!

Today, we had a very special outing to watch the Men's Boxing at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.

We enjoyed 11 exciting bouts and had a fantastic time supporting and cheering on all of the contestants.

We were also lucky enough to meet some of the athletes, who kindly gave us commemorative pins. It was great to chat with the volunteers and police officers who helped make the event run so smoothly.

This week's Summer Memories trip took us to Loch Lomond. We had the place to ourselves as we reminisced about holidays past and enjoyed a panoramic view while we ate our lunch.
