The schools are back and so are we!

I still have some slots available so do get in touch if you are interested in classical guitar (all levels), violin / trad fiddle (beginners - intermediate) or ukulele lessons near Dalbeattie.

1:1 and group lessons, children and adults.

Free taster lesson / in person chat. (Sorry, no online lessons.)

I am fully qualified and experienced. I have two degrees from the Amsterdam Conservatoire (Music in Education and Classical Guitar) and also a first class honours degree in Childhood Studies (University of the West of Scotland). I have been teaching music in one way or another for the last 35 years (not counting the recorder lessons I gave to a friend, in exchange for 10 cents, when we were about 9 years old πŸ˜…).

The Yoga for Wellbeing Project will continue for another two years thanks to support from Kirkcudbright Development Trust and TSDG Health & Wellbeing Fund.

Kirkcudbright Development Trust
Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway

This year there are two courses on offer:

πŸŒ€ Functional Flow

Over 9 weeks, this course will explore how yoga can improve your balance, flexibility, strength, mental and emotional wellbeing. All practices are fully accessible, with options to practice on a mat, in a chair or moving between both. It is well suited to beginners, but people with an existing practice will benefit as well. Make this your time to step away from the busyness of life and look after yourself.

πŸͺ‘ Chair Yoga

Discover how dynamic chair yoga can be in this 9 week course. Build strength, flexibility and resilience through a combination of modern movement techniques and traditional yoga practices. No prior experience is needed to participate. Just bring yourself along and give it a try!

The first round starts on 15 April. Booking is open now. Link in comments ⬇️

Special thanks to all of last year’s participants for the feedback. Your enthusiasm ensured our success!
