Simply pop into the surgery and ask for our NHS App Ambassador, Pallavi, who will be happy to help you get set up, answer your questions, and show you how to use these services with confidence.

Using the NHS App and Accurx Triage is the quickest and safest way to contact the practice. They help ensure your request reaches the right team, reduce the risk of errors, and make it easier for us to provide you with the care you need.

Whether you need help downloading the app, logging in, submitting an Accurx Triage request, or navigating the NHS App, we're happy to assist.

🌟 Calling All Carers Registered at Hartland Way Surgery! 🌟

Are you a paid or unpaid carer and registered as a patient at Hartland Way Surgery? We'd love to invite you to our Carers Event!

📅 Tuesday 29 September
🕑 2:00 pm
📍 Shirley Community Library

This event is exclusively for patients registered at Hartland Way Surgery who are carers. Whether you care for a family member, friend or neighbour, you are very welcome to attend.

We'll be joined by a range of local organisations who will be showcasing the support and services available to carers, including:

• Croydon CVA
• Mind in Croydon
• Shirley Neighbourhood Care
• Carers First
• Age UK

Over the coming weeks, we will be reviewing our carers register and contacting patients we know are carers.

💙 Are you one of our patients and a paid or unpaid carer, but we don't already know? Please get in touch with the surgery and ask to speak to Debbie, our Carers Champion, so we can ensure you receive information about the support available.

💬 We'd also love to hear from you! If there are any topics you'd like us to cover at the event, please let Debbie know. We'll do our best to include them.

Hartland Way Surgery is currently looking for a Receptionist to join our friendly team for 10.5 hours per week.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Warm, caring and empathetic
• An excellent communicator (both face-to-face and on the phone)
• Organised with good attention to detail
• Calm and professional under pressure
• Respectful of confidentiality
• A supportive and positive team player

We’re planning a special event just for carers at Hartland Way Surgery, and we would love to hear from you!

A carer is a person of any age (including children) who provides unpaid support to a partner, relative, friend, or neighbour who couldn’t cope without their help. This could be due to old age, frailty, disability, a serious health condition, mental ill health, or substance misuse. Parents of children who are disabled or have a serious health condition are also considered carers.

This event is for our patients who are carers, and we want to know what topics, discussions, or support you would like to see included. Your input will help us make it as useful and meaningful as possible.
If you identify as a carer and are a patient but haven’t told us yet, please contact us and request to speak to our Carers’ Champion — they will be happy to assist.
