We wanted to share an important update about Parklands Care Homes.
After more than 30 years under founder Ron Taylor's ownership, Parklands Care Homes has been acquired by Myriad Group, which owns Caring Homes, a leading UK care provider with homes across the UK, including Scotland.
Alongside the change in ownership, Ron will step down as Managing Director but will continue in an advisory capacity to support the group's capital investment programme. Current Finance Director Susie Mackenzie (pictured) has been appointed Managing Director, supported by a strengthened local leadership team.
Ron said: "This has been one of the hardest decisions of my life. Parklands has been a huge part of my life for more than 30 years, but I always knew there would come a time when it would be right to step aside. For me, that time is now, and I can do so knowing Parklands is secure and in the right hands."
For our residents, families and colleagues, it is very much business as usual. The same care home teams remain in place, with the same commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
