✨ I DID IT. ✨

I’m so incredibly excited to finally say that I have passed my coaching accreditation. 🤍

🌿 It has been a journey.

There have been moments of doubt, moments where I’ve had to stretch myself, learn new things, question what I thought I knew and, at times, wonder whether I was actually good enough.

But I’m so thankful I stuck with it.

Because becoming a coach isn’t simply about calling yourself a life coach. Life experience is incredibly valuable — and some of the most important lessons we learn come from living them.

But for me, becoming a professional coach also meant committing to learning the craft.

Learning about coaching models, ethics, boundaries, questioning, listening, reflection and how to hold space for someone without trying to fix them.

Going through training, being assessed, receiving feedback and continually looking at my own practice has given me something really important:

confidence that I am doing this properly.

And that matters to me.

I want the people I work with to know that I take coaching seriously. That I care about the standard of the work I provide. That I will continue learning, developing and holding myself accountable to high professional standards.

🌿 So today, rather than rushing onto the next thing…

I’m taking a breath. 🌿

I’m stepping outside. 🌿

I’m reading something that feeds my soul. 🌿

I’m feeling the warmth of the sun on my face. 🌿

I’m noticing the trees, the birds, the breeze and all the little reminders that life doesn’t always need to be hurried.

And I’m celebrating.

Not just passing an accreditation.

But the journey it took to get here.

The lessons.
The growth.
The perseverance.
The people who have encouraged me.
And the absolute privilege of being able to build something that I genuinely care about.

Sometimes the most important thing we can do after reaching a milestone…

is pause long enough to actually feel proud of ourselves.

Today, I’m choosing to do exactly that. 🌱

Feeling very, very blessed. 🤍

And maybe this is your reminder too:

🌿 You don’t always have to rush towards the next thing.

Sometimes, you’re allowed to stop.

Breathe.

And simply enjoy how far you’ve come.💕

🌿 Welcome to Free to Be.

I think we’ve become so busy searching for a better life that we’ve forgotten to notice the one we’re already living.

We rush from one thing to the next.

Always chasing.

Always improving.

Always wondering what’s next.

Yet the world keeps quietly offering us beauty.

The robin that lands on the fence.

The light through the trees.

Fresh washing dancing in the wind.

Children collecting sticks that somehow become pirate ships.

The smell of rain on warm ground.

A cup of coffee before the house wakes up.

None of it asks us to optimise it.

None of it asks us to capture it perfectly.

It simply invites us to notice.

Perhaps that is what slowing down really is.

Not escaping life.

But paying attention to it.

There is so much beauty in ordinary days.

Sometimes we just have to slow down enough to see it.🤍

I’d love to hear how you are slowing down or if you want to explore this more through coaching then please do reach out, I’d love to walk alongside you! 🌿

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learnt over the last year is this…

Not being ready isn’t always the same as being afraid.

When I first imagined creating this business, I heard so much encouragement to “just start.”

It was kind advice.

And for many people, it’s exactly what they need.

But it wasn’t what I needed.

What I actually needed was time.

Time to dream.
Time to question.
Time to become.

Not because I lacked courage.

But because I was still growing into the vision.

We celebrate the launch.

The announcement.

The moment everyone sees.

But nature reminds us that so much of growth happens underground.

Roots don’t apologise for taking their time.

Seeds aren’t failing because no one can see them.

Some things need quiet before they need an audience.

And that’s okay.

If you’re in a season where life feels slower than everyone else’s…

Please don’t assume nothing is happening.

Some of the most beautiful things are still taking shape.

🌿 Thank you for being patient with me, whilst I am also learning and finding my way too, I love having you here on this journey we take together! 🌿

There is something that has been quietly sitting with me lately…

I wonder if we’ve accidentally turned slowing down into another thing to achieve.

Everywhere I look, I see another list.

“Five ways to slow down.”

“Ten habits for a calmer life.”

“Three things you should do before breakfast.”

They’re all written with the best intentions.

But somewhere along the way, even rest has become something we feel we need to succeed at.

And when we don’t?

We miss a day.
Forget the journal.
Skip the morning walk.
Wake up late.

Instead of feeling rested, we feel behind.

I’ve started wondering if perhaps we don’t need another checklist.

Perhaps what we’re really longing for is permission.

Permission to sit in the garden without calling it mindfulness.

Permission to watch the rain without needing to learn something from it.

Permission to drink tea while it’s still hot.

Permission to simply be.

Because maybe slowing down isn’t another habit to master.

Maybe it’s remembering that your worth was never measured by how productive your peace looked.

🍃

I’d love to know…

When was the last time you slowed down without feeling guilty?

If you’d like to explore this more I’d love to help you and walk alongside through coaching- evening appointments available only.
