Joyce, George, Alex and Betty filled the garden with wonderful chatter on this gorgeous day. 🌸

The ladies couldn't stop smiling at the colours and the fantastic smell of flowers. Betty said she'd love more blooms by her window to greet her each morning, which we now are planning! George taught us all how to care for them properly and Alex had the perfect 40s and 50s soundtrack playing. A perfect afternoon together.

Summer days spent in the garden. 🌞

Alex and George enjoyed a game of tennis and while they played, the rest of our residents soaked up the sunshine, swapping stories about dancing nights and outings with their families.

Joyce says being outdoors makes her feel alive and today, with the yellow blossom on our split pea plants catching the sunshine, we could see exactly what she meant.

Bill and Joyce have been looking after these plants together, proud of how they've grown. Bill tickles the leaves, telling us how it helps them along. A beautiful day in our ever growing garden. 🌿

This was so much fun! 🥳

There was lots of laughter this week as residents played target games with mini beach balls. Music played in the background while everyone took turns trying to land the balls on target. Ian kept the group laughing with his funny stories. Ann enjoyed the comical stories and laughter. Phyllis simply enjoyed being part of it all.

What a wonderful a chance to keep active whillst getting to know one another a little better. We'll definitely be bringing out the beach balls again soon.

Rain or shine, Joyce loves to be outside. 🌳

Today it was wind, rain and all, as Joyce headed out to take in the trees and the fresh air.

"It's just magical," she said, gazing up with the biggest smile on her face, the weather didn't bother her one bit.

When local school popped by, we got stuck into rock painting with them.

Ivor is very creative and jumped at the chance to have a go. Olive painted a pebble and was in her element, making such love conversation with th little ones. Ian sat chatting away too, soaking up the fun.

Our residents always find a visit from the children uplifting. What a lovely afternoon all round. 🥰
