🌑 Leo New Moon & solar eclipse – A New Lunar Cycle Begins ✨
Tomorrow's Leo New Moon (12th August at 6.46pm UK) marks the beginning of a new lunar cycle, carrying us through to 10th September.
Leo invites us to live and lead from the heart, not through ego, but through authenticity, courage, and generosity of spirit.
This month's guidance encourages us to bring heart and mind into harmony, so our actions are guided by both wisdom and compassion. It's a powerful time for setting long-term intentions, addressing deep-rooted challenges, and expressing ourselves with greater confidence and clarity.
When we speak and write from the soulful voice of inner wisdom, our words carry a different quality. They resonate more deeply, conversations become more meaningful, and new possibilities can begin to unfold.
In this month's lunar guidance, I explore the astrology of the Leo New Moon, the themes for the weeks ahead, and how we can work consciously with the energy of this new cycle.

INNER WISDOM FINDS A VOICE
The Knight of Swords suggests a mentally active month where ideas, communication, learning, understanding, and planning all come to the fore.
At its best, the Gemini-influenced energy of this card brings clarity, determination, and the ability to make decisions rooted in spiritual wisdom rather than cold logic alone. At its worst, it can become the relentless pursuit of an idea or goal with little feeling for anyone else, or even any basis in reality.
So this month, it’s especially important to stay grounded, compassionate, and deeply connected to your intuition, allowing your heart and soul to guide your mind rather than the other way around.
On a personal level, the next four weeks offer a wonderful opportunity to make thoughtful plans for the future. Consider not only what you want to achieve, but how you want to feel as you move towards it. Anchor every goal in the living experience of your body. How will achieving it enrich your life? How might it benefit those around you?
It’s so easy to become captivated by an idea that sounds clever in theory but makes little sense when translated into everyday life. In my opinion, many poor social and political decisions have been made in exactly this way. Always bring your ideas back down to the human level and ask yourself what it would actually feel like to live with the consequences.
If there’s a decision or problem you’ve been wrestling with for some time, you may finally be able to find clarity this month. Try this simple practice...
