Overlooking the beautiful Afon Lwyd, our Cwmbran Care Home is located in the peaceful residential area of Ty Canol, close to Cwmbran’s town centre. We are excited to be an integral part of the local community, building relationships thro

ughout Cwmbran. We support and encourage our family members to engage with parts of the community that are important to them; keeping their independence, self-esteem and group solidarity. Each person that may need our support is unique and by understanding one’s life history, one’s journey in life, by striving to be a true continuation of home, we create a place where everyone feels safe and never alone.

Before we say goodbye to July, we're looking back on some of the celebrations that made it such a special month. 💚🎉

We celebrated birthdays with some of our wonderful team members and recognised our July Team of the Month, our fantastic Maintenance Team, Simon, Rich and Gareth. 👏They have played a huge part in transforming our home. Their hard work and dedication contributed to us achieving our GOOD CIW rating, and the wonderful feedback we receive.

Join us tomorrow for a tropical afternoon full of great food, music and summer fun! ☀️🌴

We'll be firing up the BBQ, serving refreshing mocktails, welcoming a traditional ice cream van and enjoying plenty of games and entertainment. Whether you're a relative, friend, neighbour or simply want to come along and meet the team, we'd love to see you.

Tea is served! ☕🍰🫖

Everything was ready for a lovely afternoon tea, with plenty of sweet treats, savoury bites and, of course, a good cup of tea. From homemade favourites to classic afternoon tea delights, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Sometimes it's the simple things that bring people together, sharing yummy food, good company and taking time to sit, chat and enjoy the afternoon. 💕
