It’s difficult to find the words after hearing of Vikki Solomon’s passing. 💔
Although I never had the privilege of knowing Vikki personally, she was part of our aesthetics community - built around caring for people, building confidence, listening to their stories, and forming relationships that often become so much more than appointments.
My thoughts are with everyone who knew and loved Vikki. I cannot begin to imagine the heartbreak they are experiencing, and I hope they are given the privacy, compassion and support they need in the days and months ahead.
News like this reminds us why conversations about violence against women and domestic abuse remain so important. Too many women continue to live with fear behind closed doors, often in silence. Every woman deserves to feel safe, valued and free from harm.
If you are reading this and recognise yourself in that sentence, if you feel frightened, controlled, isolated or unsafe, please know that you are not alone. There are people who will listen, believe you and help you find a way forward. Reaching out for help is never a sign of weakness; it is an act of incredible strength.
And if you’re worried about someone in your own life, check in. Send the message. Make the phone call. Ask the question. Sometimes simply knowing that one person cares can make all the difference.
