Victoria has over 20 years’ experience working as a Holistic Therapist in the field of mental health and personal development. She has a wealth of experience working within a broad range o

f individuals and settings from mental health hospitals and the NHS to outdoor seasonal festivals. A life time love of nature has inspired her own personal and professional development, this has taken her to study with medicine people around the world as well as psychotherapists and scientists on the subjects of nature in health and healing. Having trained as a permaculture designer in 2016 she has found that the ethics and principles of permaculture now underpin all of the work she does as well as her own personal lifestyle choices. More recently she has been studying Wilderness Therapy with the intention of weaving all of her prior knowledge and experience together to offer a deeply therapeutic, empowering and educational service that she hopes will inspire others as much as she has been inspired on her own journey with the natural world.

Thank you to everyone who came along to our Shamanic Wisdom Journey at Lindisfarne Festival last Saturday. It was another great turnout and I was blown away by all the healing results people had from this experience. If you were one of those who came along or if you got any photos, please share feedback or pics. Thank you

Look forward to seeing you all next year!

Just had confirmation I am going to be at Lindisfarne Festival again this year, banging my drum in the Shanti Bee area. Had a great turn out last year and met some lovely folk.

My workshop this year is:

*Shamanic Wisdom Journey*
A drum guided journey, to access deeper levels of consciousness and intuition. This ancient method of 'getting out of your head' enables us to travel through time and dimensions to access realms of healing and guidance.

We will be setting some personal intentions to discover more of what we each need right now in these times of powerful change.

Hope to see some of you there

Reflecting on the last year, there is a lot to celebrate and a lot to learn from.

Things have been fairly quiet through Elements of Nature as I have been working hard setting up our new Community Interest Company - Connected In Nature CIC, more about this below.

With Elements of Nature it has been an absolute pleasure offering a small amount of one to one sessions this year. It was an honour to be invited to be Master of Ceremonies at the fabulous Nature Therapy Conference in May and it was a great end to the summer to hold a Shamanic Journey workshop at Lindisfarne Festival in September.

With our new CIC It's been exhausting, but oh so rewarding to work with so many different people and I couldn't have done it without the support of our AMAZING team, together we have:
🪷 Come together with local families to celebrate the seasons.
🪷 Worked with inspirational young people through our home education and school groups.
🪷 Co-created our services and events with the local community who have been so inspiring and encouraging.

More information coming soon on this years Nature Therapy Conference in May, if you work in a therapeutic capacity or as an outdoor facilitator I can't recommend this enough. Reserve the date 8th - 11th May!

May the growing light bring inspiration to your life today and empower your year with love and connection

As the sap slowly rises and we prepare for the coming spring, we want to give thanks to the restful quiet of winter. A time for reflecting on the year passed and preparing for what is to come.

As so many cultures share sacred celebrations of cleansing/purification, illumination and renewal.
Not only with the honouring of Brigid and the festival of Imbolc, with the full moon on the 1st February but through the many cultural celebrations in Hebrew, Islamic, Hindu and Christian traditions, to name but a few.

Let us celebrate how the earth's cycles unite us across faiths and cultures that acknowledge these empirical themes and that together we are stronger.

Just as the different species of trees bring different medicine to the woodland and support each other to grow in their common ground, so too can we.

Wishing you all a blessed New Year 🎊

At this time of year we often think about letting go of old patterns and welcoming new energies into our lives. Simple rituals—writing down our desires, burning what we wish to release—are often encouraged. But is it really that simple? Intention is crucial, and I believe it must come from a pure and conscious place.

In many spiritual traditions, intention is the seed from which all transformation grows. A ritual without intention is just an action, but intention infused with awareness becomes sacred. It asks us to listen inwardly, to examine the energy behind our desires, and to ensure they are aligned with our highest good—not driven by fear, ego, or avoidance.

True release happens when we honour what we are letting go of, acknowledging the lessons it carried, and gently choosing to move forward with clarity and trust. When intention is set with presence, humility, and reverence, even the smallest ritual can open the door to deep healing and meaningful change.

Perhaps before any ritual, we can begin with stillness—placing a hand on the heart, taking a few conscious breaths, and asking: What is truly ready to be released, and what is my soul calling in? From that place of listening, let intention arise naturally, and let whatever follows be guided by that inner wisdom.

Winter is up on us, as I gather in evergreens, berries and winter flowers, my steps remind me of this .... Wishing you all a nurturing winter and a deep remembering of your inner wisdom and wealth 💫

This speaks to the shamanic understanding that your soul moves through many lifetimes, leaving traces of itself in the land just as surely as it leaves memories in your body. It suggests that the Earth holds your history in its layers, forests, stones, and soil acting as living archives of who you have been. The invitation is to walk with reverence, knowing the ground beneath you remembers you intimately.

Descriptive Text on Image:
“You were once your own ancestor, and will be again. Your ancestral remains from other lifetimes still rest in sacred ground, in the quiet folds of old forests, beneath stones that remember, in soil that still sings your name. The land holds your stories, not lost, but layered, woven into the dreaming of Earth. Walk gently. She knows you.”

Wishing you all a nourishing season 🍲🧙

As the days shorten and autumn deepens, many cultures around the world honour this time as a season of remembrance, a moment to pause, reflect, and give thanks for those who came before us.

In the old Celtic traditions, this was the final harvest festival of the year, a threshold between seasons, when people would gather to share food, tell stories, and remember loved ones. It was seen as a time to enter the ‘cauldron of the soul’, embracing the darker months as a gift of rest, introspection, and renewal.
By Winter Solstice, communities would celebrate the return of the light and the turning of the new year.

However you may be marking this season, whether through quiet reflection, lighting a candle for someone dear, sharing stories with family, or simply walking in nature, we at Connected In Nature wish you a gentle, heart-warming time of remembrance and gratitude. 🍂

If you feel called to gather in community, you’re warmly invited to join our Seasonal Family Celebration this Saturday, where we’ll share stories, crafts, and a walk beneath the waxing moon.

In just a few hours, look out the Blood Moon lunar eclipse tonight, (7th September) at 7.33pm - it's a spectacular sight!

This Sunday evening, sky-watchers across the UK are in for a rare celestial treat: a total lunar eclipse, often called a “blood moon.”
