The residents were kindly invited to the Care Home Olympics today at Firthmoor Community Centre. Unfortunately we didn't get on the podium this year, congratulations to those that did!

So we had a lovely afternoon out yesterday to the indoor market. It was great to see so many faces there and showing them how the indoor market has changed! I was surprised at how many thought it had changed for the better but that was maybe because they were sat with a drink and food! We had lovely jacket potatoes courtesy of Crave Darlo they were amazing and great portion sizes, would highly recommend to anybody who fancies a jacket potato, thank you again for providing these for us. Thank you to all the helpers who joined us, we couldn't have done it without you 🥰

So yesterday we had our monthly trip to the pub! 🍻 While we had a shaky start with reserving tables and general unhelpfulness of staff on the phone the staff at Tanners on the day really helped us and were excellent as they were last time. We all had a lovely day out and already looking forward to next month! Cheers everyone 🍻
