None of us want to think about developing dementia. But smoking puts you at a much higher risk. 👀

The poisons in to***co smoke damage your blood vessels and kill off brain cells …increasing your chances of a heart attack …stroke … and dementia. 🧠

We can’t change our age. But we can cut our risk of dementia by not smoking.

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the tragic incident over the weekend. It will be felt far beyond those immediately involved, touching families, friends, neighbours, colleagues, and many people who live, work, travel through, or care for others in the area.

We also extend our condolences to our colleagues at Cleveland Police as they come to terms with the loss of two of their officers, something no organisation, or family, should have to go through.
