I've been really terrible this last couple of weeks at keeping my social media updated !
So here's a picture of Preston Crematorium today, yes a Sunday...
I was actually nearby buying something and thought aha I will go and see if the parakeets are about ..they weren't but I had a lovely wander and saw a treecreeper and some of my absolute favourite lomg tail t**s

My photo just can't capture how lovely this heart tribute was at yesterday's service at Charnock Richard Crematorium made by Fleur Boutique Florist.

I leave my phone in my car when I'm conducting a service because no matter how many times I check its on silent the doubt stays but I nipped and got it out after the service to try and capture it. Unfortunately no smellavision so you can't benefit from the scent coming off in waves

A celebration of life indeed 🥰

Today I was at the gorgeous Finsley Gate Wharf in Burnley looking out across the canal in the sunshine.

Family and friends gathered to raise a glass, share stories and reminisce following a direct cremation service.

So important to share messages like this from Andys Man Club , let's nornalise talking about things, sharing things and getting things of our shoulders

Humanist Ceremonies
Photo description for the visually impaired, a shared post that text readers will pick up , the photo itself shows Jude Bellingham in an England kit, arms raised with the quote overlaid onto the image -
"I've felt vulnerable and doubted myself and needed someone to talk to .”
“Ive tried to keep us this macho athlete image of i dont need anyone , bm the truth is that I do, everyone does."

My role as a mentor is very important to me.
As the Celebrant network support coordinator for the northwest it means I have duty to support the Celebrants trained by Humanists UK in my area, including at times standing as a mentor for new trainees.

It's something that really matters, it's not my job to train people that's a separate team (it's something I would like for the future but it's a very exclusive team to gain a role on). My job as a mentor is to give practical observations, and so when Charnock Richard Crematorium were having their open day on Saturday it was a great opportunity to take a mentee along to beginning the process of being comfortable in the new world she's chosen.

And it's always a good day when I get to see Dove Release by Dutton Doves 😍 and have a good catch up

To my local followers, despite the heat there are times that dogs still need to venture outside for short times and if you are in the Mill Hill area they might appreciate a little trip past Blackburn Funeral Services for a drink.
