The goal isn’t to become someone else. The goal is to understand how your brain and emotions can work together 🧡
So many high-functioning women with ADHD spend years trying to force themselves into ways of doing things that were never designed for the way that their brains work.
You keep promising yourself you’ll be more disciplined or more organised, but underneath, the overwhelm runs much deeper.
Usually it resembles emotional exhaustion, nervous system overload, shame, masking, and years of feeling too much or the opposite, not enough.
The women I work with are often successful on paper. They have great careers and businesses. They have families and responsibilities but behind closed doors, they feel mentally chaotic and emotionally drained from trying to hold everything together.
Healing is not about becoming a completely different person.
It’s about understanding your patterns, regulating your emotions, and learning how your adhd brain works so you can stop fighting yourself every single day.
When your brain and emotions start working together instead of against each other, life begins to feel calmer, clearer, and far less overwhelming 🫶
Comment “ADHD” if this resonates.
