We’re pleased to announce that this page will now represent both OsteoscanUK Ltd (OUK) and Hampton Bone Health Ltd (HBH), reflecting the strong and increasingly close working relationship between our two organisations.

OsteoscanUK and Hampton Bone Health will retain their established names and identities while working side by side to provide REMS bone health assessments, specialist reviews, education and ongoing bone health support.

For those of you who have been following the discussion in Osteoporosis International following the publication of a paper by Bobelyak et al in September 2025, and the subsequent rebuttal article from IIMHE in March 2026, read on.

Now that all bookings are made through the bookings system on our new website, the entire process is fully automated.

Once you have booked your appointment and paid your non-refundable deposit, you will receive a confirmation email from the system. This email is your appointment date/time and the clinic address, so please keep it safe!

As our booking system is fully automated, you will NOT receive any additional confirmation documents or emails from us in the office, as you would have done before we introduced this new system.

If you haven't received your confirmation email, please check your spam or junk mail folder before contacting us. Please also make sure that you enter your email address correctly at the time of booking to ensure this confirmation and any other booking email reaches you.

Despite the current hot weather, all OsteoscanUK scan clinics are continuing as normal and appointments are going ahead as scheduled.

If you are attending a clinic, please allow extra time for your journey, particularly if travelling during the warmest part of the day or on busy roads.

We recommend staying well-hydrated before, during and after your trip, carrying a bottle of water with you, and wearing light, comfortable clothing where possible.

Both Nick and Alison Johnson look forward to welcoming you and we all appreciate your cooperation in helping everyone stay safe and comfortable during the warm weather.
