π Meet Our Home Manager - Carla Bowman, Registered Nurse π
Weβre delighted to introduce Carla Bowman, who has been the Home Manager at Claremont Manor Care Home since we first opened our doors in April 2024.
Carla is a highly experienced Registered Nurse with a wealth of clinical and leadership experience across both the NHS and adult social care sectors. Her nursing career began in acute healthcare, where she worked in Accident & Emergency and Intensive Care, developing a strong foundation in delivering high-quality, responsive care when it matters most.
Over the years, Carla has progressed into senior leadership roles, bringing her passion for person-centred care into care home management. She has worked with a number of respected care organisations, where she has helped build strong teams and maintain outstanding standards of care across multiple homes.
What truly sets Carla apart is her genuine dedication to the people she supports. She is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming environment where residents feel safe, valued and truly at home. Her focus is not only on delivering excellent care, but also on building meaningful relationships with residents, families and colleagues, ensuring everyone feels part of the Claremont Manor family.
π¬ Carla says:
"Itβs a privilege to lead such a dedicated team and to be part of creating a warm, caring community here at Claremont Manor. Every day, we have the opportunity to make a positive difference in our residentsβ lives, whether that's through a friendly conversation, sharing a laugh, supporting personal goals, or simply being there when someone needs us.
For me, care is about so much more than meeting needs. It's about helping people continue to live fulfilling lives, maintaining their independence, celebrating their individuality, and creating moments of joy. I am incredibly proud of our team and the compassion, kindness and commitment they show every single day. Together, we're creating a place that truly feels like home for our residents and a welcoming environment for their families and loved ones." β€οΈ
