Hats, scarves and emotional support chickens!

There's nothing like cozy knitted items ready for those colder months. Every week, the Broadstairs Knitters come together to knit, chat and create - and this October, for breast cancer awareness month, their handmade work will help support Breast Cancer Now.

On 9 and 10 October, a lovely selection of knitted items will be available to buy at Bayside Yarn on Broadstairs High Street. There will also be homemade cakes, an auction and plenty more to enjoy.

No need to book - simply drop in at any time during the day, browse the handmade creations, enjoy a treat and help raise vital funds for people affected by breast cancer.

Last Friday’s Bubbles & Band event at It's The Real Deal was proof of what happens when a community comes together.

Thanks to the amazing team who kept the sweet treats and fizz flowing, the talented After Dark band who provided the sound track, and every single one of you who stepped through the door, a fantastic £1,378 was raised for .

Every slice of cake nibbled, tea quaffed, and ticket purchased directly fuels BCN work. £1,378 isn't just a number - it translates into real, tangible support for those living with or impacted by breast cancer.
