Your headaches are not always about water.
So many of my lovely ladies come to me convinced they just need to drink more, sleep more, do more. And those things matter. But the tension headache that sits behind your eyes by 3pm is often your nervous system waving a white flag after a full day of holding everything together.
The brain reflex sits on the top of your big toe. As a Reflexologist, it is one of the first points I reach for when someone tells me their mind simply will not switch off.
Here is how to work it at home...
Use your thumb to apply firm, steady pressure to the top of your big toe. Work in small circular motions. Keep going for about a minute. As you do, slow your breathing right down. Long breath in, longer breath out.
That is it. One point. One minute. A few deep breaths.
It will not fix a chaotic week. But it gives your overthinking mind a moment to land, and sometimes that is exactly what your head has been asking for.
