Are you getting fed up with
outrageous claims on social media, especially in the health and aromatherapy department, essential oils labled as 100% pure when the nearest its come to pure is about 10% or Synthetic Linalyl Acetate or Dipropylene Glycol (DPG). DEP is especially commonto bulk an oil out as it fixes the sent making it last longer. In my next workshop as well as making a few products we will be looking at (what I believe) are the most useful 10 essential oils for a budding aromatologist/aromatherapist to use. you might want to join us. It's been ages since I posted a recipe for my DIY aromatherapy enthusiasts, so, here's an old favorite of mine for making when a friend is feeling a bit low.
5 drops of Grapfruit (or Bergamot), for lifting the mood, 2 drops of Rose Geranium, for balance, (especially if its hormonal) and 2 drops of Clary sage for that extra lift to the spirits. Make a 'dipping jar' by adding this to 15 ml of sweet almond, dip in and rub a little into the inside of the wrist, inhale deeply and feel the 'lift'.
If you're making it for a friend why not write a little note with it saying what your 'intention' is.

Thanks to all my lovely learners on the Astrological Aromatherapy workshop for their amazing feedback, (and for wanting more 😘) I'm working on it. 'The essential 10', (date to follow soon). These days, as more and more people want to be in charge of their own wellbeing (physically, emotionally and cosmetically) they get bogged down when looking for essential oils especially on line, confused with quality, uses, cost and safety. This workshop will take 10 of the most useful essential oils and explore indepth their use and value to the individual.
