Meet Jackie – Trail start date has been postponed - we will update you when we have another date.
To help improve patient access and reduce telephone waiting times, our practice is introducing Jackie, an AI-powered reception assistant, which will work alongside Rapid Health.

Jackie is designed to help patients access the right support more quickly and to assist the practice in managing the high volume of calls received each day, particularly during the β€œ8am rush.”

Jackie can help patients with a range of requests, including:

Requesting an appointment

Requesting fit notes

Processing administrative queries

Directing requests to the appropriate team

The system gathers information in a structured way so requests can be handled more efficiently and routed to the most appropriate service or clinician where needed.

Importantly:

Jackie does not replace our reception staff or clinicians.

Clinical decisions are always reviewed by an appropriate healthcare professional where required.

Patients can still contact and speak with our reception team when needed.

We hope this service will help improve access, reduce waiting times, and make contacting the practice easier for everyone.
