Talk of the town is how many new fish we have. They have well and truly been breeding. Phil our maintenance team has been explaining how much the mummy and daddy fish have been falling in love and how many pond sticks they need now 😂

Yesterday at teatime a new booklet was handed to all of our residents called “My Life, My Story”. As you can see, as soon as we gave it out everyone was intrigued.

This document has also been sent to their relatives for then to add to the information which all will be collated and added into the residents current assesment which creates a full picture of someone.

This then means that everyone will have person centred care plans and it will give us ideas for what activities, entertainment and trips we can put together for everyone.

Over August we have a spotlight on care plans and our team is working hard to ensure everyone’s care plan is 5⭐️ and unique to them.

Our care team will be sitting with the residents to support them to complete these booklets and are looking forward to learning all about them.

After an initial interest in Amy’s new cookbook, we have people interested in purchasing a hard copy of our new 18 years, 18 plates cookbook

We’re looking forward to offering an opportunity to purchase a hard copy of the cookbook but digital copies are available.

An exciting delivery arrived yesterday... 📦✨

Seeing Amy’s cookbook in print for the very first time was such a special moment. After months of recipe testing, writing, and bringing every page together, it’s finally here!

It’s hard to describe the feeling of holding something you’ve worked so hard on, but it’s safe to say there were plenty of smiles. We can’t wait to share it with you all soon!
