Water Safety for Teenagers
Teenagers and young adults often take risks around rivers, lakes, canals, reservoirs, quarries and other inland and coastal waters, especially in groups. Most teenagers - especially males - don't fully recognise the risks they're taking.

Nappy Sacks
Nappy sacks are thin plastic bags used to wrap and dispose of dirty nappies. They are normally packaged in a loose bundle like sandwich bags, making it easy for a bag to be grabbed with one hand. But this can also cause more than one to come out of the packet at a time.

Although they are a common household item for families with young children, they pose serious risks when stored incorrectly or left in reach of babies in children.

Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust also have an Infant Feeding Team.

The Infant Feeding Team provides mothers and families in Derby with advice and assistance to make informed feeding choices. The team also provides support to enable women who choose to breastfeed to do so for as long as they wish. This helps to improve health outcomes.

The team works closely with our health visiting team, and provides training and support to local children’s centre staff and GPs.
